The Love Box

Hi guys, I am posting after a long time. Was very busy with things at home. Though made a few things but was unable to post them up.

This is the love box i made to post for my DT assignment for the Gingerloft Challenge Blog. Its totally hand made without any templates or any tools, just plain card stock and glue :)

The hugs and kisses symbols are all hand drawn and cut and so are the hearts. I have outlined them with a silver marker to make them stand out.

I added a polka dot hallmark pattern paper on the inside and all the red polka dots are by punching the red card stock.

Another view of the box to show the curves of the heart :). On top i have used a shiny n very thin red lace.

Another shot of the box to show it clearly. It had good enough space inside to fill it up with chocolates or even a medium sized gift for a loved one. perfect for valentines.

Wedding Gift Box

Today i am here to share with you a wedding box made for a friend, i made this sometime back but couldnt get time to post it. She wanted the groom's and bride's dress on the box. so here i am, the images are internet downloads, colored with water color pencils and markers. Added flowers on the dress to make it look a bit more fancy because weddings here are all glittery and jazzy :). Oh and not to forget this box is totally handmade. I took all the measurements then drew them out and then cut and glued this box together. seriously it was loads of hard work :) but i love making boxes :).

Here is a complete look of the box. The flowers are all hand drawn, hand cut and then glittered. Even the swirls are hand drawn and cut. The base on which the images are stuck is covered with a glittery shocking pink net.

A close up of one decorated corner of the box to show u the flowers and swirl clearly. I have even made a tiny glittered heart on it, though its not very visible :).

The upper cornet of the box showing the butterfly which is colored with markers. Have used embossing paste and glitter on it. added pearls to give it a complete look.

View from another angle to show things more clearly. actually i was not very much satisfied with the pictures, cus this really looks more better in real.

This is the back of the box where i have added a tag. Also embellished it with light pink flowers. Also tied a bow over both red and pink colored ribbons and added a tiny little flower on the top of the bow to give it a complete look.

Bright And Colorful Summer Gift Box

I have already posted a card similar to this box. The image is from designed 2 delight. This post is a gift box to match the card. Actually lots of birthdays and occasions are coming up which demand making loads of gift boxes and cards so I thought making some with the same theme as of the card would be nice and some what easy too no thinking of an altogether new design for the box decoration :).

I think that I should not bore you guys with the descriptions again because they have already posted with the card so have fun :). Not very tidy, i know some white corners are showing :(.
