Happy Winter

Hi. Today i am sharing a simple but cute winter card with u. Hope u like it. There is not much to tell. The image is by the talented Anne Fenton. I have colored it with markers and color pencils. 

I have kept it pretty simple. \The Ribbon, button and the pin are from my stash. The image is raised a little. I just hope i will soon get back into spirits and find more time for crafting :).

Tag It Birdie

A quick and simple card for CDAC challenge. I have used the bird image and made a tag card. There is nothing much to share about this card. The image is colored with markers and color pencils. It is raised a little to add dimension. The is pierced all around. the ribbons are from my stash.

My Best Friend

A simple card for another Outlawz challenge. This cute little girl image is provided by the talented Sandi.

There is nothing much to share about this card. I have colored it with color pencils, raised it a little. Added a girly purse where her stocking was supposed to be :). Because i wanted to make friend card and the image was perfect for it, except for the stocking.

The ribbon and the embossed sticker is from my stash and i have tied a double bow to it. I am not very happy with the results though. But had to do a quick card so there wasn't much option. Hope you guys like it :).

Honey Doesnt Taste Sweet Without You

The card i am sharing with you today is a pretty big card. Made for one of my friend's, girl friend. She is angry on my friend due to a misunderstanding so he requested me to make a card for her. And he likes huge card with bold and vibrant colors :).

The image is Provided by Sew Many cards for a CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge. I totally fell in love with the image when i saw it and wanted to do something really nice with so when my friend requested a card, this was the perfect image for it.

I have colored it with markers and water color pencils, using water too :). The bee and butterflies are embossed stickers, the background is made with water color pencils.

The flowers are all handmade, except for the the tiny yellowish green flowers. The border around the image is cut with patterned scissors. I have used two color panels below the image, green and purple. The dots on the purple panel are hand done, which explain there not being in perfect sequence :).

The Butterfly is an internet download and colored with markers. The ribbon and button are from my stash. The Sentiment is computer generated and has a long story behind it :).

First Outlawz Challenge

Hi today i am sharing a pretty simple card with you guys. Its based on a sketch from card positioning system. The image is from Anne Fenton for a freebie challenge at out lawz.

The image is colored with my markers. Raised a little to add dimension. i have added dots to the green and yellow strips of card stock with my white marker.

The red card stock is pierced, though its not showing very clear in this picture, but the above picture shows it clearly. and i have outlined the pink pink card stock with the same white marker in a little distressed way. Hope you guys like it.

Teddy Bear Thank You

Back after really long. Need to leave love on the blogs, will visit you guys soon. The image you see is from my wrapping sheet, really loved this teddy bear. The Background is created with my color pencils. I know its not very professional looking, I need to play with a little more. But this was my first time :). The Pattern paper is from my stash. The flowers are from a  candy i won some time back. The Butterflies are internet downloads colored with my markers.

The scallop is hand drawn and cut. outlined with markers. The ribbon is from my stash. Had to work really hard with putting up all those tiny gems you are seeing. Raising everything without a foam tape was a also a job. The sentiment is computer generated. Hope you guys like it.

Hanging By To Say Hi

I have finally reached my Fiftieth Post and i am very happy :). The card today is based on the tag image by Faith of Designed 2 Delight. I have colored it with markers and color pencils. Also have added 2 extra images, the spider web and the spider, though spiders give me creeps. 

The sentiment is computer generated, The black patterned paper is actually a note book cover, which belonged to my kid sis :) but she was generous enough to allow me to use it :).

The red card stock strip is cut with patterned scissors and I have added a ribbon from my stash on top of it. The card has been finished of with a double looped bow and a red button, both of which are from my stash. Both the image tag and sentiment have been raised a little for added dimension.

You Are My Favorite Pumpkin

Today i am sharing a simple and cute card with you, based on the image from Faith, thank you for giving us such a cute image to play with. I have colored the image with my water color pencils. 

The wavy design on two sides of the image is from patterned scissors, the sentiment is computer generated, the buttons and ribbons are from my stash. And when i was taking out my ribbons a horrible and huge spider came and started running here and there, almost had an heart attack :( Spiders really scare me.

My First Deep and rich Colored Card :)

I think this is my first card with such deep colors, i mean not the usual bright or lively colors. the image is an internet download, colored with my water color pencils. the card based on the color of PDCC. It was some job coloring this medallion, it took me really long getting it done and had to keep the nibs of my pencils sharp, to keep the result neat and clean. My Mom and Sister loved the card, i hope u guys like it too.

I have cut the smudge colored stripes and used them over the leather colored card stock which was originally very glossy and shimmery :). I Pierced the gap between both the stripes and the four sides too. The gave a rough torn out look to the leather colored card stock.

I have used black colored gems over the smudge colored card stock.

The image is raised a little to add some dimension to it. I mite add a sentiment later on. Right now i am not sure.

I have the colored the image according to PDCC color story, the difference in the colors is may be due the snapshot.

Is It This Or Could It Be That

This card is made for a person who really asks a lot of questions and really gets confused if he is unable to get proper and clear answers for his questions :). He is no other that my kid sister's best friend :), so when i saw this image, i immediately got an idea and the finished piece is in front of you. My family members loved this card hope u guys like it too. I am planning to give this to him as a best of luck card for his upcoming exams.

The image is an internet download, probably a coloring page if i remember it correctly. Its colored with coloring pencils. The image is raised a little to add some dimension. 

I have pierced outside the image and the scallop too. The scallop is hand drawn and cut. Have distressed the edges of the scallop, tag and the card, hope its visible in the picture. The ribbons you are seeing in this picture belong to the tag :).

The sentiments are computer generated and stick to the scallop, as i had to make a moving element in my card for entering it in a challenge, i made a raised pocket in the card for the tag, it really looks pretty in real. But the sad part is i misjudged the challenge time and couldn't enter :( .

May Your Days Be Filled With Love

This card is for a wonderful lady I met this year on my vacations. She is the sister of my, sister's best friend. She is an amazing person, all chill, lively, loving and caring. A sweet sister, adorable mother, trustworthy friend and an attentive wife.... not to forget she cooks yummy food :).

Ok now over to the card, the image is from Faith of Designed 2 Delight, Thank you for this wonderful image. I fell in love with it as soon as i saw it. The card is based on the color story from PDCC, God i love their color pallets.

The image is colored with color pencils and markers, raised with two way tape to add some dimension. I had cut out a circular window in the card and then i cut out a round shape from yellow card stock a little bigger than the window, placed the image on it and stuck it from the inner side.

The olive scallop is hand drawn and cut, which explains the untidiness. The pearls and the gem flowers are from my stash.

The sentiment tag is hand drawn and cut, the fancy cutouts in the corner are made from the patterned scissors. The ribbon is also from my stash.

If Friends Were Flowers

This had started as a bookmark, but now after its completion its a thin and long card. The Image is from Faith, thank you for giving us such wonderful images to play with. I was a little confused in the beginning that how i will handle this...? but then got confident when i started with it.

A close up to give an idea of the added dimension. The flower leaves are printed twice and then raised with   a two way tape to add dimension like we usually do in decoupage.

Its colored with my color pencils, raised a little to add dimension. The sentiment is also from Designed 2 Delight.

I have Jute under the image. The Patterned paper that you are seeing is actually a graph paper of which i have colored 2 tiny blocks of each bigger square. It sure was a time consuming job but i love the results, hope you like them too. I like square shapes and i wanted to do something which is not a square with a square, i hope i am making sense (like a flower and butterflies with a square pattern paper).

The Butterflies are internet downloads colored with markers and finished of with a pearl from my stash.

This card is based on the image from D2D. A beautiful image provided by Faith for which i am really thankful :).  I combined certain challenge requirements in this card, like the color Pallet of Bugaboo and the sketch from Sweet Sketch. 

Its a pretty simple looking card. The pattern paper is from my new stash, the image is colored with color pencils. I have done paper Piercing around the image, i hope its showing in the picture because the holes are really fine :). The Fancy border around the image is cut from my patterned Scissors. Have added green color diamante from my stash. The butterfly is an Internet download, colored with color pencils. the center of the butter fly body is made with pot pourri that comes in small nets to hang in our wardrobes :).

While i was taking pictures in the garden, i noticed Mushrooms growing there after 3 days of continuous rain :). So i thought of sharing it with you, they are pure white.

Those Who Bloom In Hearts Of Others

Today i am sharing a project with you based on the color story at pdcc. Its a long story to tell you guys that why the pics came out so lousy, where as the project itself looks really pretty in real. will take some more pictures in the morning.

The sentiment is by Tlc. Butterflies are and internet download. I have re sized and colored them. The flowers are all hand drawn and cut. The circles are from the single punch.

Another feeble attempt to show how it looks in real. I am so disappointed with the pictorial results. Will take some more in the morning.

Purr-Fect Cat Woman

The tag that I'm sharing with you is for my best friend. She loves cats and has loads of cats in her house :) wanna guess 21 to b exact :P........ surprised....!!!!!! dont be ...... thats how she is, sweet, loving and caring. Oh...! i forgot to mention her name :) lolxx. You guys know her by the name of E.T of Vibgyor Krafts.

The image is by Faith of D2D and this image reminded me to make something for my best friend, who is a little cranky with me these days :). Dont worry its nothing serious, just a friendly catty attitude :P lolxx. So i made this tag to tell her that huney i love you loads and plz dont get angry. I am also playing your challenge with this tag :P. 

The image is colored with markers and color pencils. Its embossed a little to add dimension to it. The ribbon and button flower is handmade by me, it was quite a job to glue it together :). The sentiment is handwritten. I have pierced all around the tag and then i used the nib of my marker to add a little color inside the holes. I have also outlined the tag with a black marker. Added jute underneath the image and an adhesive diamante for the locket of the cat.

A Basket Of Gifts

I am sharing with you a gift basket that i decorated a few days back for my Brother's Fiancee for the the occasion of  Eid, like you guys have Christmas we have Eid after our Holy Month of Ramadan in which we fast for 20 or 30 days according to the lunar calender

so when people are engaged gifts are exchanged between families on Eid, of both girl and boy. So this was one of the gifts that I decorated :).

I have wrapped the red ribbon around the handle of the basket. Then i hung strands of silver ribbon and glued tiny round mirrors to it to give it a jazzy look. I even tied tiny red bows and stuck them to the handle and also to the Henna cone to add some more color. Actually Rid here is all about colors and bling :).

Here is the look before i covered the basket with a shocking Pink colored net.
