Just For You (Shaped Card)

Today i am posting a shaped card. The image is an internet download, colored with my water color pencils and i love the results, but you can tell better as you guys are better judges. I wanted to do this image with different colors but then i saw Play Date Cafe's color story and the result is in front of you. And not to forget i got its instructions from Annette and you can view them here 

It really took a long time to make this card, but i enjoyed the entire experience as it was different. The flowers are handmade and the ribbon and embellishments are from my stash. The sentiment is an Internet download as well, I embossed it and added a heart on top of it.

The leaves and the curled pieces are also hand drawn and cut. I ran my ribbon above the image and glued it on the top of my button :).

Life Is Sweet

This cutie is for one of my very good friend :) Sarah. She is an adorable person, loves colors and is always ready to party no matter who is having it and where :). She is the source of smile for many people and she loves my crafts a lot and she was asking me since a long time to make something for her :). So this is what I came up with as she loves cup cakes too :P and her Birthday is coming up at the end of this month too.

The image is a  an internet download, Probably a coloring page as far as i remember. I colored it with my water color pencils with a lil help from water and a paint brush :P.

The ticket sentiment is also an internet download, toffee is an embossed sticker from my stash and so is every other thing used on this card.

The wishes inside was a forwarded message from a friend and i liked it so much that i typed and printed it for her Birthday card. Hope she likes it :).

Bright And Colorful Summer Gift Box

I have already posted a card similar to this box. The image is from designed 2 delight. This post is a gift box to match the card. Actually lots of birthdays and occasions are coming up which demand making loads of gift boxes and cards so I thought making some with the same theme as of the card would be nice and some what easy too no thinking of an altogether new design for the box decoration :).

I think that I should not bore you guys with the descriptions again because they have already posted with the card so have fun :). Not very tidy, i know some white corners are showing :(.

You Are Berry Sweet

This time its not a card but a decorated notebook project :). The image is from Faith. Thanks Faith, I love this image and the outcome is so pretty that I love it more every time I see it. This is the top view of it when it is closed. I also added a sentiment, so that the receiver feels special :). And not to forget the source of inspiration for this project was Bridget's project.

The Image is colored with my water color pencils, normal color pencils and pearl paints, I also used some wet paint brush over my water color pencils to get this desired outcome.

When it was dried I added beads or what we call Diamante here, they looked so adorable that u couldn't resist used them :), though gluing them neatly was a hard job.

The image and the sentiment are both raised to add dimension. The wrapping sheet is from my stash and i love this one, because the colors are so summery and it has flowers and butterflies on it.

This is a close up pic of the note pad. I added a berry on it with a sentiment to make it look like a complete set with the same theme. and i made a pocket in the base to the note pad can be replaced once its finished :). It mite not show clearly in the picture.

An Ocean Of Gifts

This is a Birthday card made by the flops image given to me by Faith :). I dont know where to start about this card, because there is so much going on in it :). I wanted to do a beach kinda scene after seeing this image.

The Flops were plain so I made some flowers on it, I hope it was ok to do so, they look so yummy with the flowers :). The flowers are also colored with markers.

I made waves with two different colored blue card stock, assembled them with thick two way tape. added some glitter to the waves to give it a real look. 

The gifts are an Internet download, colored with my markers and  embossed to give a little dimension. i arranged them between waves.

The Fishes, Sea horse, Sea weeds, birds and clouds are embossed stickers from my new stash and so is the backing paper used. I tried so many backing papers and after a long time this was the only one which gave the best effect of the sea and the sky :).

The gifts are an Internet download, colored with my markers and  embossed to give a little dimension. i arranged them between waves.

I also added some glitter on the sand colored card stock. The sentiment is computer generated and i had it in my mind from the time when I had started with my card. 

I have tried my best to arrange everything in the best possible way, now you be the judges :). Just to tell you that my sister, mom, brother and some friends have liked it a lot :).

Care Bear Birthday box :)

Decorated this box for my brother's Girl friend :). It was her birthday on fourth July :)..... yeah same as America's birthday. I had to do this box very quickly because he gave me very less time to do on it, though it still took me three hours .... hehheh...... pretty quick :).

The image is an internet download of Care Bear Coloring page. I have colored it with my markers and coloring pencils. I know it looks poorly colored, because there was something wrong with my color pencil it was leaving scratch marks while coloring. Plus we dont have huge arts kits having many shades of colors and markers here and this really limits the creations to the few available shades.

The backing paper and the stickers are from my new stash given to me by my sister and brother :), there are loads more, I am thinking of uploading the pics. 

I have added stickers and some glitters to the balloons, gifts and the pies to give them a bling, but its not showing much in the images as my brother was in a hurry and i couldn't take clearer pictures. Plus i was very hungry too..... hehehe :).

The image, the gifts and three balloons on the top have been embossed too, to add dimension :).

And last but not the least, she loved the gifts, the wrappings and the card that i made. I am so happy :). My brother loved them too, so now i think that probably he wont be teasing me that my craft thingies create a mess in the house :P.

Bright and colorful Summer

This week we were given two images to play with :). Loved these beautiful flowers by Faith. They are colored with my normal color pencils, water color pencils and markers :). 

Embossed them to add some dimension to the card, I dont know why..... but I like in fact love embossed cards. 

Did I tell you guys that this week I won the challenge at TSG blog :). I am really really happy :). My first winning of blog land........Yayyyyyy :)

The frills kind of layers that you see below the bow are no fancy punches, cus we dont have any here, which really makes me feel bad a hand tied at times. Its just cut with patterned scissors. And it was an inspiration from a Dt card on Designed to delight. 

One thing I dont really like on the card are the round mirrors that I have added on the the corner of the card. They are kind of giving a cheap look :(. I tried to take them off but they wont come off with out tearing the card stock, so sorry guys bear with it. I think I am not happy with this double bow too :(. It was looking really nice and pretty without both of these things.
