Stacked Birthday Turtles

This is my first post as a Design  Team member on Gingerloft  :). I am so happy to be a part of these wonderful ladies :). Check wonderful entries by other design team members here

My first post was to make a Birthday card, and I have used a part of the stacked turtle digi from Gingerloft.  I have colored the image with color pencils, raised it a little to add some dimension. And i have made it based on the sketch provided by deconstructed.

The gift, Balloon and the rattle are stickers from my stash and so is the ribbon that runs under the digi image. I stuck diamante on the turtle to add a little bling to the image.

The white dots on the pastel green flap are made with a white marker. Patterned paper is also from stash. Hope you guys like my card.

The Love Diary

Made this diary for a Valentine;s give away :). I got this image as a freebie from cdac challenge. This specific image is provided by Happi Scrappin Doodles. The image is really very cute :).
The image is colored with markers. I added a ribbon bow to the kettle shaped bird house :) and it kind of looks cute :).
I measure the card stock large enough to hold the diary and a pen. then scored it to meet the thickness of the tiny diary.

After giving the shape to the flap of card stock i decorated both the inner side with a pattern paper from my stash. The next step was to personalize the diary and this was done by covering it with a pink card stock, adding s strip of pattern paper and a heart from another pattern paper :). looks cute.... dont you think so? :)

I attached tiny strips of purple and pink ribbon to the spiral of the diary :) and then later on glued the back of the diary with the card stock.

After getting the inside done, started decorating the outside. Raised the image a little to add dimension. Added a strip of card stock cut with patterned scissors and added tiny little flowers to it. Outlined the pink layer and put dots on the outer most layer with a silver marker. And Finally i was done with it and i really enjoyed doing it :).

The image is colored with markers and color pencils. Even the background is colored with color pencils.

I have used Kraft, Red and Green colored card stocks for multi layering. The pattern paper is from my stash and so is the ribbon and the tiny pink flowers on the lower side :). The hearts are hand drawn, cut and then glittered to add a bling  :). hope you guys like the card.

Wedding Gift Box

Today i am here to share with you a wedding box made for a friend, i made this sometime back but couldnt get time to post it. She wanted the groom's and bride's dress on the box. so here i am, the images are internet downloads, colored with water color pencils and markers. Added flowers on the dress to make it look a bit more fancy because weddings here are all glittery and jazzy :). Oh and not to forget this box is totally handmade. I took all the measurements then drew them out and then cut and glued this box together. seriously it was loads of hard work :) but i love making boxes :).

Here is a complete look of the box. The flowers are all hand drawn, hand cut and then glittered. Even the swirls are hand drawn and cut. The base on which the images are stuck is covered with a glittery shocking pink net.

A close up of one decorated corner of the box to show u the flowers and swirl clearly. I have even made a tiny glittered heart on it, though its not very visible :).

The upper cornet of the box showing the butterfly which is colored with markers. Have used embossing paste and glitter on it. added pearls to give it a complete look.

View from another angle to show things more clearly. actually i was not very much satisfied with the pictures, cus this really looks more better in real.

This is the back of the box where i have added a tag. Also embellished it with light pink flowers. Also tied a bow over both red and pink colored ribbons and added a tiny little flower on the top of the bow to give it a complete look.

A close up of the tag. which shows best wishes for the couple getting married.

Hanging By To Wish You a New Year

Hi, i am back after a very long time, really going busy with a lot of things. Plus my brother getting married in march so time is an issue :). I have made this card using the freebie image from Just Some Lines provided for cdacp challenge.

The image is colored with markers and water color pencils. The image is raised a little to add some dimension. the pattern papers are from my stash and so are the diamante. The Flowers are also from my stash and i have added them on the ribbon to fill the empty space :). The sentiment is hand written and hand cut.

A view from and other angle to show the layers and the raised image.

Inside of the card. I try decorating the insides of my cards too. It gives an overall nice and matched effect with the outer surface which is already decorated :). Hope you guys like it.
