Sending You A Little Prayer

I dont know why, I dont like the picture of this card as much as I like it in real. The stamp is from Faith as usual and I loved it as soon as I saw it. Thank Faith for these wonderful images.

I made this card for a friend of mine who will go through a cancer surgery :(. I hope the operations goes Successful and he recovers soon. Please do pray for him.

I have printed out the image five times to give it this look, Surprised ......? Dont be I will explain. Once I printed and colored it, the second time I printed and used it as a base. I cut all my flowers and hearts from the first one and embossed them a little and added them on the base. Third time, I printed and colored and then cut all the flowers again and this time too embossed them and added them to the base of the flower vase and on the sentiment. Fourth time was to paper piece the flower vase and emboss it :). Last but not the least, for the fifth time had to color it and use it on the inside of the card with the sentiment :).

Have used three different images, the sentiment is a freebie from TLC, God, I love the stuff  they offer, and the button is an internet download, which I have colored and embossed a little to add dimension. Also tied a bow to it to make it look like a real one.

The backing papers are from my stash and the card is based on the sketch from cps. I mite add a few new pics of it tomorrow. I hope it looks like a guy card :).

Grown With Love (Shimmery Love :).)

Made this card with free image provided by Faith of Designed 2 Delight :). Thank a lot Faith for these wonderful images. My sister always needs something to give to her friends so this card wont be spared :).

Ok so details about the card, i have told you about the image already, it has been colored with my water color pencils, embossed a little to add dimension, the bug stickers are from my stash.

I haven't really layered the card too much because em not really feeling well. The weather is very hot and humid and I feel so dehydrated no matter how much my fluid intake is. Today too, I got out of bed with difficulty as it was a busy day plus had to complete this card as well.

The backing paper  used is from my new supplies and I love its vibrant colors. The bow is made from what we here call a Glittery Dori. Have used purple and pink so it would go with the flowers and backing paper too.

The sentiment is computer generated, but its credit goes to someone in the cyber who used it like this on her card and I got inspired and used it for my card. I dont exactly know her name but if she comes across this post and mentions her name I will give her the due credit.

Awesome Boy

I made this card for a boy who is sick a likes to receive get well cards. His name is Thomas and you can find all about him on Dustin Pike Blog. The image is Skater Boy from Designed 2 Delight. I have colored it with my color pencils. I loved this image, but I am disappointed with the result. There is a long story behind it. Anyways I mite make something else with it to overcome my disappointment.

I have embossed the image to give it some dimension. The decorative paper is from Hallmark, the green paper is normal colored printer paper. I have outlined different layers with white permanent marker. The sentiment is a freebie by E.T. And the purple rounds that you see are embossed stickers from my stash.

Get Well Soon (For Dylan)

I made this card for Dylan, a ten year old suffering from inoperable tumor :(. This card call was called by Dustin Pike. So here is my entry. I have already mailed out the card but didn't get time to post it because blogger was acting funny, thats why I am doing it now. I hope he likes the card. My sister took an image of this and set it as a wallpaper on her I-Phone, her friends loved it so much that they were ready to break their leg to get this as a get well card :) lol.

Ok now for the card, the digi stamp is from Sliekje Stamps. She is a very talented lady and offers wonderful stamps for free :). the image is colored by my color pencils. The get well balloon is joined with colored twisted wire :). I have given a rough look to the purple card stock, did Faux Stitching and added dots with a silver pen to give a finished look.

Both the backing papers are from my Stash. Have tied a bow with two ribbons. It was a tricky job though and took loads of time to keep it in place, but it was worth it :).

The sentiment is computer generated.

This is the main sentiment of the card, a prayer offered by tlc. I just like it a lot.

And this is the Sentiment I have already used on the top of  the card. I am planing to enter it in a few challenges, but for now I need to run and do some chores :).

Thinking Of You

I was trying so hard to enter this card earlier but so many issues arised that I couldn't and from last 1 hour blogger was having issues. So before anything happens again, I am entering it and then will add the details later. Oh but lemme tell you that this is specially for Designed to Delight and the image is there freebie :) for a progressive challenge.

So now i am back after 2 days to add details. Had a rough time with blogger, first it didn't let me post, then it deleted my post and now its still not publishing my comments :(. So Meredith and Kevin I am sorry for your comments not being published, though I tried so much :(.

Ok so now for details. The image is a freebie from Designed to Delight for a progressive challenge. I have colored it with my normal color pencils, the backing paper is from my stash. The Sentiment is an internet download. I have outlined the paper with different colors to give it a finished look. Added some Rhinestones to give a little bling. Later on i even colored the sentiment but didn't get the time to take a picture so I mite add some later.

Slow And Steady Wins The Race (My First Side Bookmark).

I had plans of making this since a long time when I first saw them but Couldn't, so when I saw the challenge on Meljens, I said to myself, this is the time I better start with corner bookmarks :).

I had to make these for my Sister and her friend, they were really sick of holding the pages off their huge medical books with paper clips so they wanted something which was easy to use and handy.

My sister loved it and she was not letting go of it, even for me to take a picture and upload it on my blog :) . I had to enter this in to Meljens Challenge so I couldn't come up with something very fancy as my other card for Mother's day was also underway :).

As this is a Night time picture so its not very nice. I mite add the other ones if I am able to get that Bookmark out of my sister's hands :) heheh (she has it on her pharma book).

The image is an internet download, colored with normal color pencils. I have added some white and green pearl paint on it to give it a glossy look. Was planing to lacquer it but didn't had much time for drying it. The Sentiment is Computer generated and have added rhinestones to give a little bling :).
