Its The Bear Luck :)

I can explain my absence :). this four fold card takes loads of time putting it together. I feel like, I am engineering a project putting everything in the right place :). Well this one has a pretty simple top with just a few hand drawn and cut flowers. pink ribbon a Teddy Bear sticker to go with it.

Made this for my friend's business colleague :). This was a best of luck card for her Important business trip.

These are  two Insides. One has a notepad page on it to write a personal note and some wishes. the base is covered with a decorative paper and the corners are finished of with Pink and Yellow ribbons. The cards are all handmade and decorated. The entire card holds about approximately 50 cards :) a lot .... rite ?? :).

The space between cards is filled with stickers, embossed pictures and some designs made with embossing paste and the covered with glitter :).

I dont know what is wrong with these images, I tried so hard to level them out but they stayed this way and finally I was very tired and hot sitting on the pc, because its summer time here and the weather is so hot :(.

These are individual images of each side of the four sides of the four fold.

An Image of the card spread out to give a complete view. I am sorry that the pictures didn't came out very good because I was in a hurry to hand over this card and my friend had to rush to the Airport to hand this over to his colleague. But if you make it, its a real treat to the eyes when you open it up :).

You Are Beary Special

I made this card for a friend. He came across a very cute girl at his brother's wedding and they became friends :), so he asked me to design something for her, which should be full of colors and cute just like her :). Isn't it sweet...???? Most of us girls want people who praise us, give us gifts and tell us how special we are :). So this card is on its way to tell someone that she is special:).

Now for the card, The image is an internet download, colored with markers and coloring pencils. I have used two different kinds of decorative paper. On the top I have added two embossed stickers from my stash. One is of a cloud and the other is of a sun. On one corner of the digi stamp you can see a worm too, he was so cute I couldn't resist adding it :). Have used rhinestones for the center of the flowers in the image.

The flowers at the side of the image are hand drawn and hand cut :). I liked them them without glitter but my friend wanted some glitter so I had to sprinkle some glitter on them :). Oh and yes they are not ordinary flowers, they give a very sweet fragrance when u smell them..... SURPRISED........!!!!! I can understand, because they look totally normal and tiny. OK I will tell you the secret of it, If you look closely the flowers have tiny bead like centers, these are the beads from the Pot Pourri, we usually hang in our closets to give fragrance :). I used the ones which were no more used in the closet, they might not give enough fragrance to your closet but they give a good enough fragrance for these tiny flowers. You guys should try it out :) and you will be pleased with yourself.

A ribbon runs under the sentiment, which is computer printed. The image and the sentiment are both embossed a little to add a little dimension to the card.

Spring Is On Its Way

A lively spring card that I made as a get well card for one of my net friend. She is a very sweet person and a few days back she was unwell, had a low bp problem. I will be mailing this to her hope that she likes it :).

Lately i was a little disappointed too :(, I entered my cards in so many challenges and I didnt even made the top four leave alone wining something :( Snif Snif :(.

Lets start with the card, The image is an internet download, colored with my normal color pencils. I used some pearl paint on it to give it a little glow. The digi is sprayed with lacquer to give it a glossy look, though it is not visible in the picture. There was some problem with my printer is left some black dots in the digi image. The image, sentiment and the butterflies are all embossed a little to add some dimension.

Top corner on the right side bears three rhinestones and the left corner bears a two colored ribbon bow. The butter flies are from my stash and so is the printer paper and the decorative paper. The sentiment is an internet download. pink and blue ribbons run down the breadth of the card under the sentiment.

Hope you guys like it and I have fingers crossed for the challenges.

Simply From The Heart

Just a plain, simple and a quickie card to enter in the Woodware Usa Challenge. The heart used on the card comes from my decorative paper. I have embossed it using embossing paste and then sprinkled Glitter on top to give it a little bling. Did the outsides of the card too the same way as the heart has been done. I think couldn't have done it more simpler :). And who says simple is easy :), my hands were itching to add in layers or flowers and other details but had to stick by the rules of simplicity :).

Made a matching envelope with it too to cure my itchy hands a little :).

A Bundle of Joy

The main source of inspiration for this card is a card made by my best sister friend, named E.T and you can see it on her blog here

I dont where to start telling this story :). I fell in love this image when I saw it online and made up mind to so something really special with it, so here is what I did :). Hope you guys like it, because I really love it.

The paper on the card stock is a normal baby pink printer paper, I have scored it and added a little color around the scored lines to give it a textured look. All the flowers are hand drawn and cut. The image and the flowers both are colored with my water color pencils, it did take me ages to put so many of them :) but the result is so rewarding.

A close up picture to give you a clearer picture of the flowers, pearls and rhinestones that I have added. Not to forget that the glittered scallop is also drawn and cut by me :). The stitching that you can see on both the sides is a little untidy because its hand done by me rather then with a sewing machine, I hope you guys can forgive me for that :).

In the end I added blue and pink ribbons and instead of tying a bow, which I am not very good at :) I added a computer printed sentiment.
